VEP Community Association e-Waste pick-up and
Community-Wide Garage Sale on May 3rd
- Dave Noel
VEP Community Association is teaming up with Gunderson High School and Earthcare Recycling to hold an e-waste pick-up on Saturday May 3rd from 9 am until 4 pm at Gunderson High School. This event runs at the same time as VEP’s Community-Wide Garage Sale.
This will be a win-win event. Here’s why:
- You can get rid of your e-waste conveniently without harming the environment.
- Gunderson High School will receive funds from the recycling value of your e-waste.
- You can visit a wealth of garage sales on your way to and from dropping off your e-waste.
- Garage salers can drop off their recyclable e-waste at Gunderson instead of putting it back their garage at the end of the day. (VEP is also trying to arrange to have a charity truck at Gunderson that afternoon to collect garage sale left-overs.)
Examples of e-Waste you can drop off on May 3rd from 9 am to 4 pm at Gunderson High School
