Resisting Arrest
Blosssom Hill /Chesbro Ave           
Officer Offenberg attempted to stop the suspect. The suspect fled on foot and was taken into custody after the taser was deployed. The adult suspect was found to be on parole and had a felony warrant for his arrest. Lt. Bowen was notified.

Criminal Threats/DUI
100 Block of Blossom Hill Road               
The suspect called the victim saying he was coming over to her home.  The suspect stated he was going to shoot the victim for "cheating" on him. While the units responded to the victim's home, another call came in by CHP about a speeding BMW exiting Blossom Hill Road from Hwy 101. The plate of that vehicle came back to the suspect. Officer Little arrived at the victim's home and observed the suspect looking into a window of the victim's house.

Fire Aid
IBM-Cottle/Great Oaks
SJPD Units assisted SJFD with a fire at the old IBM property.  The original IBM building, which was declared to be a "historical building", was fully engulfed. Lt. Sims was notified.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Avenida Rotella/Santa Teresa
Victim saw his daughter’s car being stolen from their driveway. He chased the car and the suspect rammed the victim. The victim chased the suspect to a dead end at which point the suspect pulled out a handgun. The victim left and waited for police. His daughter’s car was recovered with moderate damage. The suspect was not located. No injuries were noted. Lt. Spagnoli was advised.

Feb 22, 2008
Strong Armed Robbery/ Resisting Arrest
Monterey Hwy/Blossom Hill Rd.
Officer Biskup and his Recruit Cossey viewed the clerk from the establishment fighting with a suspect who had just tried to steal some beer. The suspect broke free and ran to a waiting vehicle. The vehicle drove out of the lot and was stopped by the officers. Officer Stahl and Recruit Opp arrived and 2 suspects were arrested. No injuries to the clerk.

Robbery
6000 block of Cahalan Ave              
Three suspects attempted to rob the clerk at the 7-11. They ran in brandishing a weapon whipped the clerk when he couldn't open the register. The clerk suffered head/facial injuries. The clerk broke free and ran out the back, only to be confronted by the suspects who were fleeing into the rear alley from the front. The clerk was punched again and a gun shot was fired at him. No bullet holes found, no vehicle seen. . The clerk was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. Lt Williams and night detectives were notified.

Home Invasion
400 block of Ariel Drive            
Suspects forced their way into the victims' home. The suspects covered their faces and brandished a gun, firing one shot into the ceiling of the hallway. The 6 adult victims were restrained with duct tape and placed in a bedroom. Only minor injuries were sustained by one victim. Neighbors were contacted; nothing seen or heard.  No suspect vehicle description. Lt Williams and day detectives notified.
