VEP Community Association Upcoming Events
- Wednesday, Feb 20th, 6:00 p.m.: Martial Cottle Park Task Force meeting in the Gunderson High School Library/Media Room.
- Tuesday February 26, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.: VEP General Membership Meeting
at the Vista Park Community Center (475 Hyde Park, corner of Hyde Park Drive and New Compton Drive).
Meeting agenda:
Greg Peacock of City of San Jose Code Enforcement will provide an overview of Code Enforcement services and how to handle neighborhood issues.
Francois Rongere of PG&E will present opportunities to save energy and money using PG&E rebates.
VEP Martial Cottle Park Committee Chair and Santa Clara County Martial Cottle Park Task Force member Adina Pierce will update members on the latest news about the park and master plan.
VEP Treasurer Ginger Cardona will present proposed changes to the VEP's Constitution and Bylaws for discussion and approval.
VEP Past President Marilyn Rodgers will present an update on the city of San Jose's new Neighborhood Commission.
Eric Crane from Councilwoman Nancy Pyle's office will provide an update on the Vista Park Community Room master plan.
Tuesday March 25th, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.: VEP Home Faire in the Gunderson High School Forum. Come meet a wide variety of home improvement Contractors and service providers. Free admission and cash raffle prizes.
VEP represents over 2200 homes in the Blossom Valley area roughly bounded by Chynoweth, Highway 87, Capitol Expressway, and Snell Avenue. The name "VEP" derives from the names of our original subdivisions when we formed in 1969: V = Vistapark; E = Encore (and Echo Valley); and P = Parkview Valley.
