San Jose Palmia Community helps out during the holiday season

Palmia Community, a small community of single family homes and town houses in the Santa Teresa / Blossom Valley area, got together this holiday season with the Second Food Harvest Bank.”

Residents of the community put together “Palmia’s First Annual Food Drive,” sponsored by Palmia Community Association. (The organization’s web site is www.PalmiaCommunity.com.)

This event was a success as the Palmia Community beat their goal by more than 100 percent collecting nearly 1,000 pounds of food, which was donated to the “Second Harvest Food Bank” of San Mateo & Santa Clara Counties.
